What can I do with these flip-flops?

I bought a cheap pair of flip-flops, and I got what I payed for. So I painted them silver and cut the string things off ebcause I was going to use ribbons as the strings, but it just looks weird. I'm a creative person and I like to reuse things and make them look like art- so my question is: What can I do with these flip-flops besides throw them away?

i do this to all of my old sandals...





cut LOTS of ribbons and tie then around the sandal (top part... u know the 1 that keeps ur feet to the flip flop) it looks REALLY KOOL!!!!!
Reply:What u can do is add some sequins , glitter , beads , some stay - on sticker , u can also add some fake flowers to it , o yeah , you can buy some small letters and put your name on the flip - flops and much more . Hope This Helps ! Your sandals are gonna look super sassy if you use my materials!
Reply:Maybe use wire and beads as the strings? It would prob look cool, but I don't know how comfy that would be.
