Design a 3-bit up/down counter using T flip-flops. It should include a control input called Up/Down. If Up/Down = 0, then the circuit should behave as an up counter. If Up/Down = 1, then the circuit should behave as a down counter.

Just use last year's answers for your homework. (or you could study and figure it out yourself, but yahoo answers should do your homework for you.)
Reply:T flip flops toggle. Wire three of them in series with the output of one going into the input of another. The up down bit will select circuitry to make it count down instead. Draw a diagram and make a state transition table. You should only need some more and and or gates.
