Why are Flip Flops (Sandals) so popular?

If posslible, I was wondering if where you live, are Flip Flops not seasonal (that means you wear then no matter what the weather is outside)?

I can%26#039;t wait until it is just a little warmer so I can wear my flip-flops. They are seasonal here because it gets too cold to wear them most of the year in NJ. I admit I am uncomfortable wearing them a lot because they seem too casual (of course there are dressier versions that work in all kinds of situations). And then they are also nice because they are inexpensive; I think I have all of Old Navy%26#039;s colors (2 for $5 on sale several times from roughly March-Sept.)

Reply:Where I live (Alabama), they seem to be seasonal. Of course, a professional setting is where I see most of the fashion trends, so that may not be very accurate.





HOWEVER, I know that as SOON as it gets close to warm enough for them, I start wearing them. My feet like to breath and they hate wearing shoes all the time. The flip flop - ah they are like heaven. Not only do my feet get the space they desire, but when I walk, there is this pleasant (to me) flopping noise that reminds me of a good joke.





I wore my flops today, actually.
Reply:Reason I like em ... live in the southwest . The black widow or brown recluse don%26#039;t hide in them. Therefore you don%26#039;t have to shake them out and check your shoes, before putting them on!. Another is my feet can breath in them ..Another is I don%26#039;t have to tie them or use straps ..Most of the time they are seasonal.(Spring, Summer , Fall ) But I see people wear them year round. I don%26#039;t . I Hope that helps
Reply:I know I like them becuz they are cute and comfy. And most of the time CHEAP. LOL I live in Texas, so I can wear them pretty much all year round.
