Thongs or flip flops?

Growing up they were thongs....But if I call them thongs now the kids have a fit...%26quot;FLIP FLOPS!!....NOT thongs..OMG%26quot;

now they are flip flops. if you call them thongs and someone you dont know hears they may think you are talking about the %26#039;under garment%26#039; meening of thongs.

Reply:I think in Britain they%26#039;re called thongs. But in the US they%26#039;re flip flops.

Reply:Growing up for me We use to call them Flip Flops and I still do , Thongs to me are undies not shoes :O)
