I am planning on going to Greece for a while this fall and I practically live in flip flops, but I heard that they practically scream %26quot;American tourist%26quot; in most countries. Is this true? If so, what shoes are common?

I would be proud to wear flip flops if it screamed America, however I have been to Greece and many of the streets and sidewalks are cobblestone. Tennis shoes would be more comfortable and appropriate. Have fun and enjoy.

Reply:if you dont want to wear flip flops beacuse they might yell at you..then wear tennis shoes....everyone wears tennis shoes...and its way more comfortable for your feet
