Wedding day flip flops? Help Please!?
Victoria%26#039;s Secret has some really cute ones and they%26#039;re only $9.00! Links below...
Reply:As others have suggested, you can buy cheap flips at Old Navy (they%26#039;ve got pretty ones as well as really simple ones that you can decorate yourself). Payless may also have something that would work.

My only concern is your dress. Is it floor-length? When you wear the flip-flops your dress is going to be sweeping the floor if you have it altered for the 4%26quot; heels.

Since you want to wear heels for the ceremony, why not get platform flip-flops? I%26#039;m sure you could find some at 2-3%26quot;, but 4%26quot; may be impossible. How about you get fancy shoes for the ceremony and platform comfy shoes that are approximately the same height? This way your dress (and you) will look beautiful all night. In addition, you%26#039;ll also be a bit closer in height to your hubby for all the dancing at the reception!

Good luck!
Reply:A lot of my brides decide to do the same thing. If the ones with Just Married aren%26#039;t your thing, then just go out and buy a plain pair of comfy flip-flops. Then you can go to a craft store and decorate them if you want something different. That way they will be fun and comfy for you to dance the night away!!
Reply:Just get some comfortable white flats, maybe ballerina style - they%26#039;ll be comfortable but still look good. I just took off my shoes for the dancing!
Reply:I%26#039;m planning on just buying plain white flip flops which you can get practically anywhere. I plan on sewing sequins and such on them. That way I will get the flip flops the way I want them. I won%26#039;t have to worry about not liking them.
Reply:you can also go to a goody%26#039;s store and they usually have them pretty cheap with the sequins and stuff already made on them i got a pair that were white and had sparkly sequins all over for like 7 dollars you can also find them in small stores like a fred%26#039;s or some such store you just have to know where to look where you live
Reply:Try theknot.com, or google it!!
Reply:Bride %26amp; Groom imprint flip-flops are available at Party City.
Reply:i dont know......i guess if nobody will see them just get some white ones
Reply:They are not wedding day in particular, but Vera Bradley has gorgeous flip flops. My wife wears them all the time and they would be nice enough to wear with your wedding dress.

The link in my source list shows the exact pair that my wife has.

Take care,

Troy
Reply:I think they have white sparkly ones at target and I have seen them at bridal shops, but I am sure the target ones would be a lot cheaper.

good luck!!
Reply:i suggest you buy those flat trendy shoes that sells really cheap in chinese stores.

its more appropriate and its really comfortable. they come in great designs too so just in case you get unaware and somebody sees it will still look nice and matchy with your wedding gown.\

best wishes!!!
Reply:What I did for my wedding was buy white ballet slippers... very classic and comfortable. If you want flip flops though, I would suggest just buy white ones and decorate them how you want yourself
Reply:You can get the $5 ones from Old Navy and as everyone else suggested, decorate them yourself. Maybe if you just put rinestones on them in stead of lace, you can wear them again.
Reply:I know I%26#039;m going to get a lot of thumbs down for this, but why are you choosing to wear four inch heels when you know your feet will be miserable and then getting another pair of shoes you%26#039;ll never wear again? There are so many pretty flat shoes right now that there%26#039;s no reason at all for your feet and back to suffer in the first place.

Besides, going from four inch heels to flat flip-flops? Your gown will be trailing halfway across the dance floor all through the reception. That%26#039;s not only silly, but potentially hazardous.

Wear flats or low heels in the first place. Flip flops with a wedding gown is beyond tacky unless you%26#039;re getting married on the beach.
Reply:What about these platform flip flops...at least your dress wouldn%26#039;t be dragging the floor with these 3-1/4%26quot; heels! They would probably be pretty comfortable too.

Reply:They have cute ones with heels at JC Penny%26#039;s for $10 that are white with white accents! I got them for mine lol!
Reply:Hi there. Try this link: http://www.beachwedding-guide.com/beachw... There are a few links on this page to wedding day flip flops. There are some great ones out there that I am sure you will want to wear again. Even some platform styles!
Reply:I bought mine at www.myglassslipper.com

I wore the 3 1/2 in platforms, my shoes for the ceremony were 3 3/4 in. It looks like 3 1/2 is as high as it goes...

getting the flip flops for the reception was the best thing I did!!
Reply:You can make them yourself. Just buy a pair of white ones and you can decorate them with lace and/or sequins.

Or maybe something like this.

I know Kohls sells cute flip flops in the store already decorated. Maybe you can find some in white that you like, or in the color of your bridesmaids dresses.

comfy but cute!
Reply:Make some! Put lace on some white flip flops. I have seen them, and it is super cute!

You can hot glue it so it is clear. :)

Congrats!!! I hope your day is wonderful.
Reply:You%26#039;re not seriously thinking of wearing flip flops!?! You want some cheap sandals to wear with your pretty dress? That%26#039;s crazy!

They are WAY too casual to wear with a wedding gown.

I can understand your feet getting tired, but try going for either lower heels or some flats or ballet slippers to change into. They will not take away from your dress and still look nice.
