Is it okay to wear flip-flops in January?

The only shoes that match this outfit I%26#039;m wearing tomorrow is a pair of flip-flops. It%26#039;s January here, but it%26#039;s still been about 50 degrees most days, and I%26#039;ll be inside all day anyway. Is it horribly tacky to wear flip-flops in the winter?

Of course it%26#039;s not tacky! If the flip flops match the outfit then go for it. As far as I know, there is no rule that says you can%26#039;t wear flip flops in the winter..sort of reminiscent of the old you can%26#039;t wear white after Labor Day myth. I wear flip flops year round, especially if its a laid-back day or my look is casual..and I live in MT!! so go on and rock the flip flops!
Reply:It%26#039;s not tacky, your style is yours. I live in PA and every other day a girl comes into my Bio Class with flip flops..however I just think it%26#039;s odd because it is usually snowing/a foot of snow outside. However, if the whether suits it, go for it.

Reply:I would say go for it, but think about this......all day you know people will comment on %26quot;Aren%26#039;t your feet cold?%26quot; Even if it isn%26#039;t freezing outside or anything they still won%26#039;t be able to keep their mouth shut. So if you can tolerate the comments then hold your head high and look at them like there dumb and say %26quot;no!%26quot;

Reply:I wear flip flops daily. You can wear them anytime especially if you live some where warm.
