Will athlete's foot fungus stay on flip flops?

I let a friend borrow a pair of my havaiana flip flops and it turns out a day or two later she had athletes foot so my question is Will athlete's foot fungus stay on flip flops? And if so how do I clean it off so when I wear them I don't get athlete foot.

A mild bleach solution (with water) I would imagine would do the trick. Don't let it set anymore than 1 or 2 min., you don't want to do damage to your flip flops. And then rinse it good and dry.
Reply:gross why would you want to keep the flip flops I don't care how much they cost second just use some bleach its no big deal.
Reply:ewwwww thats gross...throw them out and buy new ones...washing them might kill the sandals too, so get rid of them.





btw y you let somebody else wear your shoes? even flip flops are still shoes...
