My cat peed on my knit flip flops how do i clean them??

my grandma made me some flip flops and on the y that keeps it on your feet there are knitted yarn. my cat max peed on them and now i cant wear them or ill smell like pee and eww im not wearing pee flops!


does anyone know how to clean them???


please i need help cause these are really nice and my grandma made them so they are important to me please help

White vinegar will neutralize the cat urine.=)
Reply:I would put 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water in a spray bottle. Spray the stain and then blot it. Do this a couple of times and then put the shoe in the sun to dry and disinfect it. You can always hit it with some Febreeze!

It is a natural enzyme (ODORLESS and more potent than vinegar) proven to neutralize pet urine odors.
Reply:wash them in cold water and dish soap in the sink.. scrub them a bit too.





the vinegar idea is good too... pour vinegar and scrub and then wash...

Reply:Why not soak them in gentle detergent and then dry them in the sun. Also maybe try soaking then in a gentle and mild wool wash. :)
